The 20RDA I/O’s (ARDBOX) HF+ PLC option offers 20 relay, analog, digital, PWM, and interrupt I/O’s (10 inputs and 10 outputs). See Figure 20RDA I/O’s (ARDBOX) HF+ Datasheet p2 below, for general and technical features, and input, output, and communications details.

Communications:

The 20RDA I/O’s PLC option provides one each of I2C, SPI, TTL, RS-232, and RS-485 (half or full duplex) services. An I2C server may have up to 127 client nodes, which allows a network with more than 7,100 total relay, analog, digital, PWM, and interrupt I/O’s.

NOTE: If the system is configured with the GPRS or WiFi feature, SPI service is no longer available for use. See Figure 20RDA I/O’s (ARDBOX) GPRS+ Datasheet p2 below.
NOTE: If the system is configured with the LoRa feature, I2C service is no longer available for use.
NOTE: RS-232 and half/full duplex RS-485 are switch and jumper enabled – two analog/digital inputs (RS-485), two analog outputs (RS-485 full duplex) and two relay outputs (RS-232 and RS-485) are no longer available for use.

Inputs:

One input is software configurable as either interrupt or digital isolated. One input is digital isolated. Eight inputs are software configurable as either analog or digital isolated.

NOTE: The digital and interrupt input voltage range is from 7 VDC to 24 VDC.
NOTE: The analog input voltage range is from 0 VAC to 10 VAC.

Outputs:

Eight outputs are relay. Two outputs are analog.

NOTE: The digital/PWM output voltage range is from 5 VDC to 24 VDC, and the current limit is 70 milliamps.
NOTE: The analog voltage range is from 0 VAC to 10 VAC and the current limit is 20 milliamps.
NOTE: The eight relay outputs are open by default, and current limit is 5A for max 250 VAC.
